On This Day: Lightening Rod

It's seven years ago today that LIGHTENING ROD was a winner of the Hexham Abbey Heritage Project Novices' Limited Handicap Chase ridden by Jake Greenall.

He won nine races and was placed 16 times from 52 starts during his nine years on the track.

'Rodney' as he was known spent his entire career here at Sheriff Hutton and his story is below.
