Agar's Plough joined us from Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale 2018 from Ed Dunlop. He has been placed twice and has run consistently to date. He is a half brother to winner Zamjar.
Name: Agar's Plough is a Grade II Listed Building in Slough Road, Eton, Windsor. The hallhouse is from the early 15th century, altered and extended in the late 18th and 19th. It is a part brick and timber frame encased in brick. This was once called Dutchman's Farmhouse. The farmer, later, was a Mr. Agar. It is thought that the name of "Dutchman's Farm" may originally have been "Dutchman's Garden" and that it was laid out as such. The horse was originally owned by a syndicate based in Eton, the horse's sire Dutch Art being a likely pointer to Dutchman's Farm and thus Agar's Plough.
