Dangerman was bought as a yearling from Doncaster Sales. He made his debut at Ripon as a juvenile and his first win came at Nottingham in 1998. He won for the second time at Newcastle in 1999 over hurdles. He was retired in 2000 after running in a selling hurdle at Market Rasen.
