Klondyke Pete came from Tommy Fairhurst's yard. He'd previously won for former trainer Chris Benstead. Klondyke Pete won the 'Levy Board Apprentice Stakes' at Lanark in 1973 ridden by Tommy Walsh. His final race was at Ripon in 1974.
