Wynburry gave Terry Lucas his first winner in Great Britain when she won the Grewelthorpe Plate at Ripon by a neck. It was only the second time that Terry had ridden the track, his first ride being on Cover Girl's Boy in the race before. After winning Wynburry was impossible to win with and went to Eric Weymes in 1980.
