Minneapolis Sound raced once, finishing ninth at Wetherby on the flat in June. Unfortunately he didn't have the speed to win a race and so we put him into our rehoming programme.
He was rehomed with Ellen who has hacked him over the autumn of 2023 before starting his schooling for an eventing career.
Name: When it came round to naming the horse his racing owners, George and Martin, decided to call him 'Jungle Love'. The forms were filled in and to our astonishment the name was rejected. Jungle Love is a song on The Time's album Ice Cream Castle, and was written by Prince. After a rethink, George and Martin decided to call the horse 'Minneapolis Sound', which is a genre of music from Minneapolis which is where Prince was born.
