'Dale the Dictionary' is a superb light-weight jockey, and his knowledge of the form book is quite remarkable. Dale rode 41 winners in 2006.

Paul Mulrennan

Flat jockey

Paul lost his claim as an apprentice in May 2006 when he rode Blue Spinnaker to victory at York. He also rode Blue Spinnaker to win the Thirsk Hunt Cup and the Zetland Gold Cup in 2004 and received the award for Ride of the Season for the ride in the latter. Paul's talents have not gone unnoticed and he was spotted by Godolphin with whom he spent some time at the start of 2005 riding in Dubai.

Tom Greenall

Amateur jockey

Thomas Greenall, son of Lord Daresbury, became champion amateur rider with 31 winners in 2004. Eighteen of these for the yard but other winners included Gunner Welburn for Andrew Balding and Zonergem for Lady Herries. Tom rides almost all of our National Hunt horses. In his spare time Tom studies Anthropology at Durham University.

Oliver Greenall

Amateur jockey

Younger brother of Tom, Oliver rides for us as an amateur jockey. Oliver is a leading point to point rider and holds the record for the most wins in a season, which he set in 2008.

Serena Brotherton

Lady jockey - Weight: 9st

Serena has established herself as a very well respected lady jockey. Serena's winners for the yard include Golden Chance and Beau Sauvage. Serena also boasts two wins in the Queen Mothers Cup at York, on Flower O'Cannie [1999] and Sporting Gesture [2003]. Her particular expertise is point-to-point. Serena combines her career as a jockey with her work as a solicitor. In July 2002 Serena was named as the Champagne Victor Lady of the Month for three winning rides at Ascot, Beverley and Pontefract.

Jacqueline Coward

Lady amateur jockey

Jacqueline is the grand daughter of Mr Easterby and regularly rides for the yard as a lady amateur jockey.

Seven pound claimer Nicky Lawes is a new recruit and hopes to be riding at 8st 2lb before long.

Apprentice

Seven pound claimer Bradley Roper was a winner at York in July when he rode Blue Spinnaker to victory onm the Knavesmire. He is a promising apprentice with a valuable seven pound claim.
