Three year old filly Copper Mountain was a winner for Joanna Mason on the new Southwell Tapeta track this afternoon. The homebred daughter of Listed winner Aetna was winning for the second time and returned at rewarding odds of 16/1. Copper Mountain is one of Mick's favourite fillies and her dam Aetna is due to deliver a foal to last year's stallion sensation Ardad later this month. It was a day to remember for Owen Riley, who was leading up his first winner since joining us here on the staff last year. |
