Armo is a big strong filly by Ardad out of four times winning mare Amitola. She is a half sister to winners Javelin (by Lethal Force, 3 wins) and Amazing Satchmo (by Kyllachy, 3 wins).
Armo did not race as a two year old and was given time to grow into her sizeable frame. She made her debut at Pontefract in 2022.
