Comment:Lady Douglas is a three-year-old bay filly by Massaat and a cousin to the legendary Hoof It who won the Stewards Cup for our stable. Sadly she's not blessed with Hoof It's speed!

A well put together filly, she stands at 16.1hh.

From a successful family, Lady Douglas is a half-sister to nine times winner Bond Angel. Her dam Angel Grigio is a half-sister to Forever Bond who was the dam of Hoof It.

Lady Douglas was purchased as a yearling from Goffs Silver Sale (Doncaster) for £15,000 and received all of her education and training here at New House Farm.

Having raced on the flat seven times Lady Douglas has shown us that she doesn't quite have the speed to win. She last raced at Southwell on 28th August 2023 (finished 9th of 10) and since her final race we have been readying her for a new career off the track. Her racing career leaves her fully ROR qualified.

We have schooled Lady Douglas over barrels and she jumps beautifully and has everything needed to follow a successful eventing career. A calm, quiet and sensible filly she is clean limbed and has no known vices.
