A few years ago we rehomed a lovely gelding called Abwab. Abwab was bought out of Sir Michael Stoute's yard at Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale in 2018 and we had high hopes for him as a racehorse. He had run once when he came to Sheriff Hutton and we thought there was plenty of improvement in him. However, he didn't sparkle on the track and after six more races, over both jumps and on the flat, we decided that he wasn't in love with racing. We made him available via our rehoming scheme and ever since has gone from strength to strength. Abwab was purchased by Jodie who came to view and immediately fell in love with him. Jodie has kept in touch with us and provides regular updates about Abwab, ot 'Harry' as he is now known. Harry also has his own Instagram page where he is amassing fans and you can follow him yourself at Harry's New Chapter. "Abwab is amazing as always. Just qualified for the ROR nationals again. Showjumping tomorrow night and he's doing his first one day event next week," says Jodie. "I love him!!" "He is a super star. People recognise him when he’s out and about now because they follow him on Instagram! He's just so lovely. I still can't believe he is mine." "He has changed so much.
