Let’s have some common sense shall we? Can everyone please stop panic buying food and stripping the shelves in the shops. This is from me as a farmer. There is plenty of food. We are not going to run out of food. There’s acres and acres of fields here that are growing crops that will be harvested in the summer. Hundreds of tons of beans, peas, wheat and so on. That's just one farm, and there's thousands of others. The supermarkets have warehouses stacked full of food. It isn’t going to run out. People have hoarded bread, eggs, everything. And a lot of it will end up in the dustbin when folk realise it won't keep for ever. And as for toilet paper, I have never heard anything as ridiculous in my 89 years. I hardly use the stuff. You don't need it, because newspaper does the same job. If you’re outside you just use a dock leaf or a bunch of grass. Stop being so greedy and behave like responsible human beings. Thank you.
