After a few days without any runners we're back in action at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Ganthorpe will drop back to six furlongs in the Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Handicap as he bids to make the frame for the first time as he makes his fifth racecourse start. A half-brother to winners Copper Mountain, Ratafia and Acrisius he made his handicap debut last time off a mark of 55 when eighth of 10 to Hardstyle over 7f at Wolverhampton. He's dropped three pounds to 52 and needs to take a step forward and leave his previous four efforts behind.

Joanna Mason takes the ride, having previously ridden the son of Dream Ahead on his penultimate start when sixth of eight at Southwell.

Ganthorpe will wear a first time visor to help him concentrate.
Looking at the opposition, only three of the nine runners have managed a win to date. Auspicious was a course and distance winner when last seen back in September, leaving maiden form behind on his handicap debut. The Tunguska Event and Container Express are the others to have previously been first past the post. Mademoiselle Belle may be one to go well. Despite being a 12 race maiden her current form is consistent and this year reads 2232. She was runner up over course and distance last time and looks capable of winning a small race or two.
