Contendit ran six times for the yard without making the frame, and so his owner decided to sell him. He was purchased at Tattersalls Sales in 2016 by Annick Gratz, who took him to Germany to race. He won three times for Annick and is a real favourite at her stables before retiring. Owner Nadine Schmidt says "We love this horse so much. He won three races and he will stay for the rest of his life in our home. So thank you very much for this lovely horse!" | ||
