A magnificent grey gelding, Vellco's Boy stands at just under 16.3hh. We know him as 'Pickles'.

Pickles came to the yard as a yearling, being purchased for £45,000 from Goffs Sales at Doncaster. He is from a fabulous family, being a half-brother to three winners including St Trinians who is a Graded winner in the USA.

Pickles raced five times and is fully ROR qualified. His best performance came at Hamilton Park in June 2021 when he was runner up in the six furlong 'hamilton-park.co.uk Novice Stakes'. However, he does not have the speed to win a race under rules and we are therefore making him available for sale out of racing. He offers huge potential for retraining for eventing. He's been ridden over barrels and he jumps beautifully.

Pickles is calm, quiet and a lovely horse to ride.
