Whitby and her foal arrive back from Norton Grove Stud

Whitby and her foal have been to Snailwell Stud in Newmarket, the home of Pastoral Pursuits, for Whitby to be covered. Pastoral Pursuits has been a very successful stallion for the yard, siring Hoofalong and Perfect Pasture, two of our top rated sprinters.

The bookings were arranged by Norton Grove Stud, and after her journey back from Newmarket we went to Norton to collect Whitby and her foal.

They will now stay at the yard with the other mares and foals until it is time for Whitby to return next year to Norton Grove for foaling.

Meanwhile, at the stud Fujakka, word Perfect, Piece of Magic and On Holiday all have foals who will return to the yard shortly.

A big thank you to everyone at Norton Grove Stud for the excellent service they provide.

Mare and foal are walked to the waiting horsebox.
The horses are loaded into the horsebox for the short trip to Sheriff Hutton. While the horses settle in we can catch up on the other mares and foals at the Stud.
Elsewhere at Norton Grove Stud there was a chance to see Piece of Magic standing proudly with her foal.
Word Perfect is also at Norton Grove with her foal. Word Perfect is the dam of our Listed winning sprinter Perfect Pasture.
Fujakka has a newborn foal. Fujakka is the dam of multiple winner Iggy.
Arriving back in Sheriff Hutton, the horses are home and ready for unloading.
Whitby gallops off into the paddocks.
Whitby's foal follows.
The pair gallop towards the rest of the mares and foals.
Happy to see them back, they are greeted by the mares and foals who run round in circles to welcome them back home.
