Pardon Me, the oldest horse in the yard, was a winner again at Uttoxeter this afternoon. Victorious over course and distance last month, the daughter of Tobougg returned to the scene to take the 'Quinnbet Handicap Hurdle' under Conor O'Farrell.

Pardon Me has now won six races in her career for owner and breeder John Brown, and was defying a five pound hike in the weights after her last success.

Also successful in the Midlands today was Point Louise. A new acquisition from Tattersalls Sales last month, she won the opening 'Spreadex Sports Best Premier League Odds Amateur Jockeys Handicap' at Wolverhampton in the hands of Serena Brotherton.

Serena was recording her 33rd winner for Mick Easterby, the first one coming way back in 1999 when Flower O'Cannie won the Queen Mothers' Cup at York.

Serena comes in to ride work in a morning and Point Louise is one of her regular rides.

Point Louise was the third winner from our last three runners, the winners all being fillies or mares, after Min Till started the sequence at Wolverhampton last night.
