Stanley enjoying life after racing

Run Resdev Run became a real stable favourite despite only running one race.

We knew him as Stanley and he was bred here and spent the first five years of his life at New House Farm.

Unfortunately Stanley didn't have the speed to win and race and he was retired after finishing unplaced in a bumper at Kelso. He was put up for rehoming and found a new career with Alannah.

"Stanley is coming on really well," says Alannah. "He's still doing loads of ground work for his understanding and he's really starting get it. Yesterday was his first day with no martingale and in a hailstorm (he wasn't keen on the weather to start with) and he did so well. His paces are really good and he's enjoying his training".

Sam Jarvis is riding him in the video, she's coached Alannah and Stanners from the start and is very well qualified being a BHS Stage 4 senior coach, Stage 5 performance manager and BE Development coach. Nothing but the best for Stanley!

Don't forget, if you are looking for an ex-racehorse off the track please do get in touch as we regularly have horses available for retraining.
