Diligent Resdev for Ascot's Victoria Cup on Saturday

Last season's Ayr Bronze Cup winner Diligent Resdev heads south to Ascot on Saturday for the Victoria Cup where the four-year-old son of Due Diligence will be ridden by Joanna Mason.

Diligent Resdev made his seasonal reappearance last month at Musselburgh where he ran on well at the finish and we hope he'll come on for the run.

The 2024 season saw Diligent Resdev take two races at big prices, his first victory coming in May when scoring at York at odds of 40/1. Diligent Resdev runs in the red and black silks of Nick and Paula Wright, who have kindly supplied our staff with 'Resdev' branded clothing for racedays.
Sondad


Sondad will join his stablemate on the trip south to Berkshire where he'll contest the second division of the 'Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% Blue Ribbon Handicap' which closes the card. A dual winner last season, he ran well last time out when runner up at Leicester. Joanna Mason has won twice aboard the son of Washington DC and takes the ride. Sondad will wear a first time visor.
