Keats House, owned by Middleham Park & Rond Point Partnership, was a winner at Beverley this evening. Ridden by Joanna Mason the son of Earthlight won the 'Jacksons Of Yorkshire Handicap' over an extended mile on the Westwood.
A breeze up purchase last year the three-year-old was winning for the first time.
Keats House appeared to jump an unseen obstacle as he approached the line in a peculiar end to the race.
"I'm not sure what I jumped near the line," said jockey Joanna Mason after the race. "There was nothing there. He was literally leaping to victory."
