Musselburgh hold their last flat meeting of the season on Wednesday as we send four horses to East Lothian.
Laurens Dream is first up as she drops back in trip to five furlongs for the first time in a year. A winner over six and seven at Newcastle last November she tried to complete the hat-trick by running over the minimum trip but finished third. She's been running over six of late, her best performance this year being when finishing third at Ayr, beaten three quarters of a length by Thunderstorm.
We field two in the EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes, a race restricted to horses in Bands C and D.
Top Lad finished fourth to Control Room at Catterick last week and he'll be ridden by Billy Garritty. He's joined by filly Duchess T who will have her third racecourse outing, having been beaten 13½ lengths by Iceni Queen at Nottingham last time. Lewis Chalkley takes the ride.
The standard in the race is set by the 79-rated Blakefell who ran well in a valuable sales race at Newmarket in October.
