Vice Admiral made his debut at Newcastle in 2005. He was a winner as a three-year-old when he won two in a row at Redcar and Newcastle. In May 2007 he repeated the feat, winning two in a row at Catterick and Beverley. From then on he proved hard to win with and was sent to Tattersalls Autumn Horses-in-Training 2009 where he was sold to Neil King.
