Shimmering Sands, in the colours of Imperial Racing, was a winner at Leicester this evening. Stepped up in trip Shimmering Sands has shown much improvement this season and he took the 'Kube - Leicester's Premier Events Venue Handicap' by a length and a half.
Shimmering Sands was recording his second career victory having scored at Beverley earlier this year, Shane Gray being the man in the plate for both wins.
