Saturday evening saw Carlisle host their fantastic Great Community Raceday where the racecourse raised money for charities in the the local area.
The races were all named after Cumbrian charities and we supported the cause by sending two runners.
Mick and David were delighted to contribute with a winner as Contrast won the final race on the card which commemorated the great work done by Eden Animal Rescue. Shane Gray was the successful jockey as Contrast bounced back to form to win by a head and record his fifth win for the stable.
It was a wonderful evening and gave us all great pleasure help raising funds for the vital work done at the animal rescue.
