It's been along time between drinks but Le Beau Garcon returned to winning ways at Thirsk this afternoon.
Ridden by Joanna Mason the five-year-old took the 'Thirsk Races Wednesday 3rd July Book Now Handicap' to record his first win since September 2021. In touch with the leaders throughout, Le Beau Garcon hit the front in the final furlong and battled hard to take the £5,234 winning prizemoney.

The son of Brazen Beau had a wind operation earlier this year and it looks to have worked wonders as the he beat Khabib by half a length at odds of 3/1. He loves the quick ground and can hopefully add to his tally in the coming months.
