Rachel came to view Ashkhabad with a view to rehoming her out of racing, and she immediately fell in love. Ashkhabad is now enjoying life off the track in the north-east of England where she has a first-class home with acres of paddocks and stunning views across to Roseberry Topping on the edge of the North York Moors. "She has had a lovely holiday mostly in the field for a couple of months, while doing some in-hand and liberty work," says Rachel. "She's seen the vet, farrier, dentist, physio, nutritionist and bit fitter. Now she's in light work and and has just started some lunging." "She's been a good girl and very clever so far!" |

Ashkhabad's long-term goal is eventing and we're all excited to see how this beautiful mare gets along in her new career. We love following her progress and Rachel keeps in regular touch.
