Rehoming
Al Najada (now known as Monty) joined us in 2023 from Karl Burke's yard. He raced on the flat nine times but he didn't have the speed to win and so we put him into our rehome programme.
Following his retirement from racing he caught the eye of Peter who was looking for a good sturdy hack. Monty then headed north to enjoy his retirement near Ayr, and today he's been on his first hack.
Peter says that Monty is a very special horse and has also had a visit from the dentist and tomorrow he'll be getting a new set of shoes!
Monty has a visit from the dentist.
We noticed on the photos sent by Peter that Monty has a fabulous shiny coat and we asked what was the secret!
Peter recommends Spillers feed conditioning cubes and fibre and Vitality and plenty of hay. Monty is clearly thriving and he's loving his new life off the track.
Don't they look the perfect pair!?
Thank you so much to Peter for giving Monty a great home and to former owners Mr Peacock and Mr Wreglesworth for allowing this to happen.
