Consistent mare Carlton And Co was a winner this afternoon at Redcar. The daughter of Havana Gold hasn't had much help from the handicapper since winning a year ago and today she defied top-weight to take the 'Visit racingtv.com Handicap' under Billy Garritty.

The visor helped the six-year-old stick to the task as she came home a length and a quarter in front of veteran and joint top-weight Brian The Snail.

It's 364 days since Carlton And Co won and she thrives in the summer months, her three career wins coming between the 30th of July and the 3rd of August.
