This Years Love thrives at Beverley and this afternoon he recorded his fourth success on The Westwood.
The son of Havana Gold won three times at Beverley last year and today he followed up his last time out Carlisle victory by taking the
Greatest Worker Martin Spencer Finally Retires Handicap
.
Given a nice lead by the front running Park Street, jockey Joanna Mason rode a patient race on This Years Love and hit the front in the final half furlong to win by three-quarters of a length from Coolree.
This Years Love now has a record of four wins and one second from his six outings at Beverley. He loves the stiff finish and is a great fun horse, effective over a range of trips.
