We head to Southwell on Friday for what promises to be a bitterly cold evening's racing as temperatures approach freezing.

Beauty Choice runs in the Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Handicap. He ran well when runner up to Lipsink at Catterick last month and he'll look to go one better as he returns to the all weather.

Now in his veteran years, Beauty Choice has seven victories to his name and has an excellent all weather strike rate with four wins from 21 starts. However, he's yet to win at Southwell in seven starts, his best effort there being when runner up to Tyke in September 2023.

Atomic Mass


Atomic Mass lines up for the Midnite A Next Generation Betting App Handicap where he bids to record his first all weather win. The four-year-old has already been runner up twice over today's course and distance, most recently last month when second of 11 to Massimo Blue. Atomic Mass was a winner at Wetherby in June but despite being on a losing run of nine races he's still three pounds higher than his winning mark.

Lewis Chalkley takes both rides and claims a valuable seven pounds.
