We send two horses to Southwell for a Friday evening card under the floodlights.

Liverpool Star ran well last time at Newcastle when beaten just a head by Brave Traveller and he lines up for the Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Nursery Handicap.

Lewis Chalkley takes the ride and claims a valuable seven pounds.

Noelies Dream looks the horse to beat. He finished three quarters of a length ahead of Brave Traveller when winning at Newcastle last month, with Brave Traveller in turn finishing in front of Liverpool Star in his next race.

Blueandtangerine


Blueandtangerine was a juvenile winner but has yet to trouble the judge this year and she runs in the Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Handicap. She drops back to seven furlongs having tackled a mile in her last two outings.

Blueandtangerine faces a maximum field of 14 runners and wears a first time hood.

There are plenty of dangers in the race with some in form horses lining up. Heretic has won two of his last three races, both at Southwell, and will benefit from a drop back to seven.

Bullington Bry returned from a break when beaten a short head over course and distance and should go well.

Reginald Charles is a course and distance winner and ran very well on the turf when last seen at Redcar in October and he might be the one to be on here.
