Rehoming

In 2024 we rehomed a fine grey gelding called Musical Masquerade.

A horse close to our hearts, he competed in the Graham Lee charity race at Thirsk to raise funds for the Injured Jockeys Fund where he was ridden by Aleesha Williamson.

Musical raced nine times on the flat and twice in National Hunt flat races and was retired in August 2024 after refusing to enter the stalls at Carlisle, his way of telling us he didn't want to do it any more. Later that month he was made available for rehoming.

Musical was sold at his first viewing to Lillian, and he left the yard for the final time on 10th August to begin a new life in County Durham.

"He's been super," said Lillian. "Lots of clinics, cross country and some showjumping shows. He’s got a hell of a jump! He’s such a sweetie and improves all the time."

We loved this video which shows what a thoroughbred can do in the right hands!

Musical Masquerade leaves New House Farm for the last time.
