J Street justified her owners confidence at Doncaster this afternoon by landing the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival Apprentice Handicap.

The daughter of Washington DC was bought back from Tattersalls July Sales earlier this month and she rewarded her owners by taking the winning prizemoney as apprentice Lewis Chalkley added another winner to his tally for the season.

Much of the credit for J Street's win must go to her work rider Chhailu who has done a marvellous job with her on the gallops.

The victory of Town Moor completed a cross card double following Sondad's win at The Curragh earlier in the day.
