A horse and rider were almost hit by a car outside the yard on Friday.
The horses were returning from the gallops and crossing the Bulmer road when a red Volvo refused to stop and pushed through the string causing a horse to spook and almost unseat his rider.
There are signs on the approach to the yard warning of racehorses crossing, and the horses can be seen from a long way away, so this is not a case of the horses not being seen.
The incident has been reported to North Yorkshire Police and we hope action will follow.
