We have action on the flat and over hurdles on Tuesday as we head for Sedgefield and Ayr.

Time Twister ran a good race on his hurdles debut when fourth at Cartmel and he contests the Sedgefield Racecourse For Outdoor Events Juvenile Maiden Hurdle at Sedgefield. He was last seen on the flat at Thirsk, and now makes a return to jumping as Jamie Hamilton takes the ride.

The son of Time Test hasn't made the frame in nine starts but has hinted at ability. Watcha Snoop finished ahead of our horse when runner up at Cartmel and we will need to reverse the form with Adam Nicol's runner.

Steel Raven looks an interesting recruit to the jumping game and if he adjusts to hurdles he could be the answer here. He was last seen at Ayr when runner up in a Class 2 handicap from a mark of 83 and Brian Hughes has been booked for his hurdles debut.

Sovereignlightcafe runs in the Fairlight Studios Cafe @ Sedgefield Racecourse Handicap Hurdle where he makes his handicap debut from a mark of 97. He was tailed off when a distant third of five at Bangor last time after a break of eight months and we hope he'll have come on for the race.

There's flat action at Ayr where Stanage lines up for the Autumn Breaks At Western House Hotel Handicap. Stanage is on a losing run of 13 races since winning at Doncaster in March 2024, and we'll be hoping to see him show his form of old on his first start since July. Plenty of rain has fallen in Scotland and the ground at Ayr is riding on the heavy side of soft.
Milford Grange


Milford Grange is our final runner of the day in the Book Your Event At Ayr Racecourse Handicap. A nine race maiden, he's been placed in five of his starts, but he's still searching for that elusive win.

The son of Nando Parrado will aim to get off the mark at the tenth attempt and regular jockey Billy Garritty will be in the plate and we'll try a set of first time blinkers to assist.
