Three-year-old filly Resdev Time left the yard for the final time this afternoon to begin her new career out of racing.
The good looking daughter of Time Test raced on the flat but didn't have the speed to be a winner and was made available for rehoming.
Known to us as 'Peanut', the smart bay filly was rehomed on her first viewing and just a few hours later left New House Farm to start her new life near Thirsk.
Peanut joins another of our former inmates, Dark Gold, who was rehomed by Samantha Shepherdson in 2024.
"She's settled in beautifully," says Samantha. "She showed us lovely manners being led to the field and then head down and grazing. She has a pal in with her and we're very excited."
Resdev Time raced for owners Nick and Paula Wright and Mrs Mary-Anne Parker who are always keen to ensure their former racehorses find good homes when their racing careers are over.
