Sixteen times winner Tapis Libre has been retired from racing. The thirteen year old recorded four wins in the Ladies Derby at Epsom as well as winning the prestigious Queen Mother's Cup at York in 2017. He carried Joanna Mason to victory no less than ten times.

Tapis will be missed by all of the staff here and heads to owner Susan Mason's where he will enjoy his retirement.

Thank you for the memories Tapis and may you have a long and happy retirement.
