Hyde was moved the the yard by his owners from trainer S Nesbitt. He won hurdle races at Sedgefield in 1981 and Ayr in 1982. He ran on the flat, including the marathon Pontefract Cup where he was ridden buy Susan Mason, and over jumps in his later career before being sold to Ian Anderson.
