Jane Roy made her debut at Ripon in June 1979. She didn't win on the flat but in 1981 she won the 'Bowes Novice Handicap Hurdle' at Stockton at odds of 2/1. She was part of a double for the stable, with Apple Wine also winning, and the first ever treble for jockey Phil Tuck. Her last race was at Doncaster in January 1982, where she was unplaced behind stablemate Apple Wine who finished runner up. Jane Roy raced 17 times and recorded one career win.
