Bankawi recorded her fourth career victory this afternoon when winning for jockey Joanna Mason.
The home-bred mare has now won a race in every one of her four seasons on the track and justified favouritism by coming home with three-quarters of a length to spare.
Bankawi was bred here at New House Farm, and is the daughter of Dubawi mare Whitby. She carries the colours of Southbank Racing and is their pride and joy, having given so much pleasure to her owners in her four seasons on the track.
