We head to Beverley on Thursday afternoon where we have three runners in action.

The seven and a half furlong Alan McGuinness And Robin Lunness Memorial Handicap sees us double handed.

A War Eagle joined us last year from Ed Bethell and made his stable debut at Musselburgh earlier in the month. He was a course and distance winner for his former yard last June and returns to the Westwood where he'll carry top weight.

Yaajooz will make his seasonal reappearance in the race, after 188 days off the track. Apprentice Lewis Chalkley takes the ride and takes off a valuable seven pounds. Claimed out of George Boughey's stable at Thirsk in 2024 has since made the frame in five of his nine starts but has yet to get his head in front.

Duchess T will make her handicap debut from a mark of 57 in the Racing Again On Bank Holiday Monday Handicap which is the final race on the card. The ten furlong contest represents a step up in trip as the daughter of Bobby's Kitten makes her first racecourse appearance of the season. Joanna Mason takes the ride, having previously ridden the horse on her penultimate start when finishing midfield at Nottingham as a juvenile. Duchess T joined us from the Tattersalls December Foal Sale in 2023 and has raced just three times. She is bred to appreciate the longer trips.
