A real favourite of ours, Refuge has been at the yard since he was a foal. He's a striking looking eight-year-old gelding with a white blaze and four white socks and stands at around 15.3hh.

Refuge raced 59 times and recorded seven wins. Four victories came at Hamilton Park and he was also successful at Musselburgh, Haydock and Beverley.

Retired in October 2025 after running at Musselburgh, Refuge has been found a lovely new home in North Yorkshire where he will enjoy his retirement.
