Able Sheriff made his debut at Catterick in 1994. He won for the first time at Musselburgh as a two-year-old in August and also won at Thirsk and Ayr in 1996. Sadly Able Sheriff was fatally injured at Thirsk in 1997 when he was brought down two furlongs out. He recorded three wins and 10 places from 37 starts.
